An eye cyst which is medicinally named as the chalazion is a small lump on the upper or lower eyelids that is caused by the swelling of the gland in the lid. Consistency might be firm, delicate or fluid filled. This situation is otherwise called a meibomian cyst, tarsal cyst, and conjunctival granuloma.
